good hotel with some drawbacks

Breakfast had many options and tasted fresh. The staff helped me find local attractions. The historical building addED some character, a definite positive.
the room lacked a useful wardrobe, making it hard to store my clothes during my trip.

the reception area offered maps and tourist information. A vending machine with snacks and drinks was near the lobby. There IS access to free Wi-Fi throughout the entire building.

the room featured two twin beds joined together. A small desk sat beneath the window, it was a good work space. The bathroom had a shower and provided basic toiletries.

the reception staff spoke English fluently. They assisted with directions to local sites. They also offered information about public transport options throughout the area.

The breakfast buffet had many choices, so I found options I liked. Buses to the city center were easy to access from the hotel. The hotel provided a key from a friendly lady, great. There were good reading lights by the bed.
The locks on the doors seemed quite old.

the included breakfast offered red fish, multiple sausages, and several cheeses. the location was very convenient, very close to the ship port!
the locks on the doors were very difficult to operate, a antiquated system.

The hotel is in a beautiful location and easily accessible via a short bus ride. The staff was very helpful and nice!!! I walked about 30 minutes to Gamla Stan. I could leave my bag after checking out to explore a bit more.
The locks on the doors were difficult. This antiquated system made entering and exiting the hotel corridors and rooms challenging. The view from my room was a huge pile of rubble. The windows were also dirty. I couldn't open the windows because of the dust.
